To better support growing businesses, Business Cents was established to provide ongoing bookkeeping, payroll, and accounting support.

The firm is led by Sherry Carrillo, Accountant and Owner of Quick Tax Unlimited and Business Cents. Sherry has extensive experience managing full-cycle accounting, payroll, compliance, and tax reporting for both individuals and businesses.

 

Among her previous roles, Sherry served as Corporate Treasurer for H & H Towing, the largest wrecker and recovery service and heavy equipment hauler in Cabarrus County, where she was solely responsible for the complete accounting cycle and corporate income tax filings.

 

Sherry holds an Associate of Applied Science in Business Administration, an Associate of Applied Science in Office Systems Technology, and a Diploma in Accounting, along with numerous industry-related certifications.

Throughout her career, Sherry has helped individuals and businesses navigate every phase of the business lifecycle — start-up, survival, turnaround, and growth. Her experience is built on hands-on management of complex financial operations, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning.

 

Sherry has maintained accounting records and provided financial services across a wide range of industries, including heavy equipment, towing and recovery, trucking, construction, automotive services, building products, and service-based businesses. This industry-specific experience allows her to understand operational challenges, ensure accurate documentation, and maintain compliance with federal and state tax requirements.

 

Among her most significant leadership roles, Sherry served as Corporate Treasurer for H & H Towing, the largest wrecker and recovery service and heavy equipment hauler in Cabarrus County. Managing a fleet of 15+ trucks and heavy equipment, she was solely responsible for the full accounting cycle, financial reporting, compliance oversight, and preparation of the corporate income tax return.

 

Sherry holds an Associate of Applied Science in Business Administration, an Associate of Applied Science in Office Systems Technology, and a Diploma in Accounting, along with multiple field-related certifications. Her work combines formal education with extensive real-world experience.
